We had an EXCELLENT stay in Venice close enough to the main attractions, San Marco and the main sights. The location was best possible and San Marco was easily accessible. Plus it was located close to a vaparetto stop.

The WiFi worked, I was able to send all my fancy selfies to my friends. The air conditioning was a lifesaver in the Venetian heat. The washing machine was handy, so I didn't have to take home any dirty clothes.
I truly enjoyed walking up and down 4 flights of stairs with my heavy bags. It was definitely the highlight of my Venice experience.

We recently stayed at The Countess for a short visit. The hotel was a bit pricier than others, but definitely worth the money. The rooms were exceptionally clean with newly renovated bathrooms. Everything worked perfectly, from the air conditioning to the windows and kitchen facilities. The location was ideal, with a Vaporetto stop nearby and most attractions within walking distance. The host, a very nice lady, provided us with a warm welcome, gave us helpful instructions, and even recommended great restaurants. Additionally, we enjoyed having a cozy cafe just around the corner for breakfast.
Can recommend this hotel.

the location was superb, with easy access to the water bus and all the main sights of the city. the apartment itself was spacious and clean, with modern amenities and tasteful decor. the hosts were friendly and helpful, providing useful travel tips. I particularly loved the comfortable beds and the well-designed bathrooms. it was a delightful experience staying at this apartment in Venice.
My only minor complaint was that there were not enough cups for everyone in our group to enjoy tea or coffee simultaneously.

We had a fantastic stay at The Countess! The apartment was superbly clean and spacious, with a charming and authentic atmosphere. Its location was ideal, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to the water taxi stop on the grand canal. The hosts, Fabio and his wife, were helpful and provided us with a map of the city and great recommendations. Although there were some stairs to climb to reach the apartment, it was definitely worth it. we highly recommend The Countess for a wonderful stay in Venice!
